Directed by Kristine Landon-Smith for Tamasha Theatre

The rather wonderful Shri was the composer for this production, set during Navratri and focussing on a forbidden love between a uindu girl and a Muslim boy. He wrote some beautiful music, but when the show was in the final week of rehearsal, they realised they needed one more piece – a dance of love duet. Unfortunately, Shri, being the busy guy he was, had moved onto another job and wasn’t available. Kristine – who as you all know has some influence with me – asked me to write this at absurdly short notice…but sometimes that’s what you need.
