The dictionary definition of a Flirtation states:

1. behaviour that demonstrates a playful sexual attraction to someone.

2. a short or casual relationship.

3. a short period of casual experimentation with or interest in a particular idea or activity.  

This piano piece probably reflect the latter two definitions, rather than the first.
