VISHWAMITRI VILLAS

This was a devised play about a day in the life of a group of domestic servants in an apartment block in Vadodara, Gujarat, India. The production was in Hindi, Gujarati, Indian sign language and local sign language.

MEAL ONE

A delightful children’s sort-of-opera that toured in 2022, starting at Leicester’s Curve and ending at London’s Southbank, in a co-production between 509 Arts, Hull Truck, and Mind the Gap. Meal One was based on the 1971 children’s book of the same name, by Ivor Culter, with illustrations by Helen Oxenbury.

PhD

Information about current research and development being undertaken for PhD at Western Sydney University. Thesis is titled: “Passing Notes: Using Ritual Theory and Dramaturgy to Understand and Develop the Narrative of the Requiem as a 21st Century, Non-Religious, Musical Funeral Rite.”
